Cabbies chatting outside St Anne & St Agnes in The City's Gresham Street. Inside the small and friendly church, today's lunchtime recital was peformed by Alison Crum and Mary Pells, both on viola da gamba and playing a selection of pieces by seventeenth century English composers, most of whom were dead before this Wren church was consecrated in 1680. The musicians were accompanied by the church's Director of Music Martin Knizia on organ.
